Our Contributions So Far

Since 2019, Café Bustelo^® has had the privilege of donating more than $550,000 to Seeds for Progress. Y queremos decir gracias. None of it would have been possible without Café Bustelo coffee drinkers like you.

2022-2023

With great enthusiasm, Café Bustelo donated $362,600 for the establishment and implementation of the Cultivating Education child labor prevention program in Guatemala and Nicaragua.

The program provides safe spaces, nutrition and personalized assistance for children of families that work during the coffee harvest, and it touched many lives within the first two harvest seasons alone.

Our Contributions So Far

2019

We began our partnership with a $20,000 donation as a sponsor of the annual Seeds for Progress gala.

2020

A $25,000 donation to the Hurricane Eta Relief Fund helped to repair roads and access to four main coffee communities in Jinotega, Nicaragua.

2020

A $45,000 donation was made for infrastructure and the Seeds to Learn program at Las Colinas School, Nicaragua, benefitting 293 students and 19 teachers.

2021

We were able to donate $100,000 for infrastructure, technology and teacher training at the Ruben Darío School in Jinotega, Nicaragua, benefitting 659 students and 38 teachers.

2022-2023
